Because of our contribution, Renotech received special certificate. Our key contributors involved Mr. Gaurav Das and Bob Talling. Our Technology and Innovation Manager Mr. Gaurav Das had this to say: “We were extremely thrilled to get the invite and be part of such an important initiative. Its not everyday that our reports get read by MEPs of European Parliament who will shape the industrial policies of tomorrow. It was good to see that our approach and ideas which are strongly centered around 3D Printing and Smart Materials are finding traction and validation in general. “ Renotech Oy thanks EU and project partners for the publicity. Renotech participated in the final event of EU 3DPPAN program which was backed by EU DG GROW and European Parliament. The final event took place in November 2021.
Renotech was selected by 3DPPAN officials to present its results. It’s important to note that Renotech was the only company to represent the specialty construction industry from Europe. It was also the only company from Finland. Renotech presentation went smoothly along with interesting industry specific questions. Questions from EU representatives ranged from technology, materials, supply chain and overall industry impacts. Upon a special request from EU 3DPPAN officials, Renotech also provided substantial inputs regarding
Renotech was mentioned several times by IDEA Consulting (responsible for EU reporting) during the seminar for the aforementioned contributions. Our Technology and Innovation Manager Mr. Gaurav Das, in charge of Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials and the Head of Consortium, had this to say: “It was a great event to participate and see how the rapidly growing area of 3D Printing is evolving. We were happy to see the immense interest of the European Commission. It was an extremely informative event and gave a broad outlook of the entire 3D Printing space. It was especially thrilling when EU 3DPPAN representatives mentioned several times about the key contributions made by Renotech and me as the technical leader. It concluded with excellent feedback from the jury and appreciation. It was good to see that our approach and ideas which are strongly centered around 3D Printing and Smart Materials are finding traction and validation in general. “ Renotech Oy thanks EU and project partners for the publicity. Renotech participated in C-Voucher Prize Innovation Contest organized by EU in May 2021. And reached 5th place globally.
Renotech was the only company from Finland – and the only company from the specialty construct industry in this cohort to get the prestigious place. Other place winners were from bioeconomy, healthtech, textile sectors. Our Technology and Innovation Manager Mr. Gaurav Das, in charge of Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials leading the new business unit, had this to say: “It was great to see such amazing ideas and really talented people pitch on stage for their next generation disruptive companies. To start with, before we decided to participate we never thought what we were getting into and certainly did not expect so many amazing and very competitive pitches. To give you an idea about the intensity, the company who got 3rd place had raised 150 million USD in funding from healthtech sector, before coming here. Renotech received many practical questions by the jury which we passed well. It concluded with excellent feedback from the jury and appreciation. It was good to see that our approach and ideas which are strongly centered around 3D Printing and Smart Materials are finding traction and validation in general. There were staff from the European Commission who were most thrilled with the excellent pitches and they said they would watch and follow-up with these companies in future. “ Renotech Oy thanks EU and project partners for the publicity. Renotech has been invited to the finals of C-Voucher prize, pitching contest. Our Technology and Innovation Manager Mr. Gaurav Das, in charge of Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials leading the new business unit has this to say: “When the application etc was developed it was clear to me that the process was meant to be very thorough and competitive. And why not, you get funds and publicity in an EU backed program. The application process and its timing were all very tight but we made it. Not only did we get excellent feedback from the evaluators but they appreciated us for our entire approach especially in regard to technology and regulation. It is good to see that our approach and ideas which are strongly centered around 3D Printing and Smart Materials are finding traction and validation in general. Our Technology and Innovation Manager Mr. Gaurav Das, in charge of Additive Manufacturing and Advanced Materials leading the new business unit has this to say: “ When I was leading the development, the most common questions we used to discuss with EU advisors is how to become more competitive in a practical way yet helping the sustainability narrative? It was not easy but we came up with a solution. Now we believe, Renotech has come a long way from simple manufacturing to devising 3D Printing driven new products powered by smart materials. Our philosophy from the start has been to allow Greentech, sustainability and circular economy acts as a key competitive edge to lower cost and increase margins while fitting perfectly with existing regulations and industrial value chains. This is unique in the sense that many emerging circular solutions proposed become more costly and face regulatory issues eg waste derived items which may hinder uptake, however our approach tries to change that by using new technology and business concepts yet adhering to existing regulations” Renotech Oy thanks EU and project partners for the publicity.
